You shouldn't put it down the loo or down the sink, even if you rinse it down with boiling water it will stiil clog the system up. I usually use an old plastic milk bottle and then throw it in the bin. Technically I'm not recycling the milk bottle but it's better than throwing oil/fat down the sink.
And this is for somebody who is going to give me a scowl when she reads it
