I know plenty of people from Utah who are equally as horrified as you at that. Those people are breaking the law and the ones who practice 'plural marriage' are also breaking the law. They live in their own very confined communities. I think there are some in Arizona. I do know some moved down to Mexico to avoid the US laws and they had colonies there.

And before anyone calls them Mormons I'd also like to explain that they may call themselves that but they are not part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints which has its HQ in Salt Lake City. Any LDS member who tried it would be excommunicated. These are offshoots who have formed churches of their own.
