can`t believe i`ve missed this thread, i live in the estate just by whinney hill , i go over whinney hill everyday and i must say the sprays have been there for years (they were near the quarry entrance but have been moved nearer the tip entrance)and are more noticable since they put up the new fence, i presumed they were air fresheners myself but never really thought much about it. Although it makes me wonder now as i was diagnosed with asthma within 12 months of living next to the tip......! mmm, anyway you`re doing a great job margaret. well done
