Yes and not only British Muslims who have denounced this shameful episode. Other Muslims elsewhere have said the same. I'm disgusted with our government. Can they not see that bending over backwards trying not to offend the barbaric system in the Sudan with the excuse of it being Muslim culture, is actually an insult to Muslims worldwide who are appalled at the way Mrs Gibbons has been treated.
