Re: Home v Shrews

When will Coleman actually realise where the problems lie??

Miles has to be one of the laziest footballers I have ever clapped eyes on. He's done nothing from day one and shows no sign of improvement. With players on the bench today who have a far higher workrate we effectively may well have just started the game with 10 men.

Branch is way over the hill, way past his sell by date and his wages must be costing the club a small fortune. I think it's time for Coleman to hold his hand up,admit he's made a big mistake in signing Branch and somehow get shut. Not knowing what sort of contract he signed (i.e. how long) could the club release him and put Branch and the majority of us out of our misery. This in turn would free up some wages which could be better spent finding a suitable replacement.

And finally I will return to Mr. Williams. What is the point of Coleman practically slating Williams in the press, admitting that he's way off what he's (Coleman's) expecting, then playing the guy regardless??? He even made him skipper for the game Mullin missed !! How many more mistakes will Williams make which result in goals conceded before Coleman has the bottle to drop the guy?? What's the point in having players like Edwards and Webb on the sidelines if Coleman is not prepared to use them ?? Webb could end going the same way as Mauro Almeida, leaving the club without having had a reasonable chance to show what he could (or could not) be capable of.

Simply put, we are carrying too many passengers. Too many individuals are underperforming. IF I was to underperform in my job,my employer would get rid of me and replace me with somebody who could meet what is required. I realise that Coleman only has a small budget to work with but surely he has to finally get to grips with the problems and actually try and resolve them.Moaning to the press will not solve anything.

Actions speak louder than words Mr. Coleman. That's two games out of the six(which Whalley has given Coleman) gone and other than brief glimpses of improvement (i.e Second half V Chesterfield and first half today) It seems there is no sign of our defensive problem being addressed. For your own sake Coleman sort it before it's too late.
