I recentley bought a bath mixer tap thingy - but after taking my original bath taps off and sitting the mixer in their place it would appear that the hot and cold pipes for the mixer are not as long as the pipes are for the original taps and there is a gap of about 3? inches between mixer pipes and the actual water pipes..

so how do I solve this ? I am sure parts may be gotten but dont know where to start...
or how much would it cost to have it done...I cant imagine it being a big job in all honesty...
I hope I have explained it right so it makes sense..
