I don't think that a woman should be able to park in a disabled space just because she has urinated on a stick and two blue lines have apppeared on it. Pregnancy is not a disability........for most women.

However, as Emzy has shown, not all pregnancies are the same. Not all women sail through and not all women only carry one baby at a time so I don't think we can just class women as pregnant or not pregnant. Some women suffer pelvic conditions which mean they are in a lot of pain, have to use crutches and can't walk far.

I think maybe a little flexibility is the key and could we perhaps issue a temporary blue badge to pregnant women suffering from certain pregnancy related conditions or who are exceptionally large due to carrying twins/triplets? The badge would be valid for a set period.
