I had to have a gas man out recently and apologised as my lounge and kitchen were messy*-not dirty,just messy* (Jacks toys scattered everywhere,plates unwashed from the night before and a washing pile the size of mount everest).....he turned up at 9am and i had been ill the day before so hadn't done much housework anyway the guy said it was clean and tidy and i thought he was having a laugh....but he told me that houses he had been to in Fern gore and surrounding areas had fresh and old dog faeces on the carpet,manky gravy splashed up the walls,kids in nappies that had been pooed in 2 or 3 times and the parents had only just decided to change them-in front of the gasman himself(!),sick on the stairs that wasn't cleaned up,and even a dead cat that was rotting was found in the fitted cupboard that holds the boiler that was in the kiddies room the woman who lived there apparently said she thought it was the smell from child's bed cos s/he hadn't stopped peeing the bed.
I dont know how people can live in such conditions-theres no excuse.
Yea housework is hard work and tbh sometimes i think 'stuff it,il do it tomorrow',dont we all?
But to even HAVE dog poo in your house,let alone LEAVE it in your house is VILE.
