Haslingden 1947 ..Tippler...Takes a hell of a long time to drop.
Malaya 1958...foot pads with a hole in the ground.
Malaya 1959...multiple personnel toilets...mind you don't get your goolies trapped when the buckets are emptied without warning.
Malaya 1960....Hole in the ground...a retaining pole to swing and bite on to but ensure that one of your so called friends has not sawn through the pole first.
Church 1962....Outside toilet...100 yards from farmhouse...newspaper on a string...wood board...scrubbed every week...over a dustbin...my job to empty it every week.
Blackburn 1964....Outside toilets....bloody freezing.
Don't talk to me about toilets........You don't know your born.

Sorry for asking advice from fellow accywebbers, didnt realise it would cause such offense or such an issue. I may only be young but I am well aware what its like to have to use outside toilets / buckets / holes in the ground etc. Was only asking a simple question as to whethere there was a fault with my lav or not
