When I was browsing MySupermarket to make up a Tesco delivery order, I noticed a special offer
Tesco Fish and Chips - 5of, for £4

I am not accustomed to buying ready meals but thought this one was worth trying because 'no artificial colours, flavourings or preservatives'

I wondered 'how can they do it at that price? - must be what is known as a 'loss leader'

After dishing it up and tasting it (and serving 90% of it to the cat), I realise that you only get what you pay for.

The chips were - well - chips and OK, but the fish!
... it looked like haddock but there were a lot of 'grey bits', and it was mushy textured.

A search of the packaging does not identify the fish used
Does anyone know?
