What's more, the proposals are a real insult to the many women and members of ethnic minorites who simple get on with their job/career/life and don't play the race/gender card. My wife arrived in this country 23 years ago and has built up a successful career for herself. She would be appalled to think that even the smallest element of her success was down to her race or gender, rather than hard work and ability.
I really do think this government have lost the plot!

It’s poor legislation all round, it’s condescending/patronising to, women and ethnic minorities.
I just cannot fathom how anti discriminatory legislation which openly discriminates is a step in the right direction.
