I have had HTML disabled for many years.
When I get mail from such like as Marks and Spencer or Littlewoods, I have to click on a header banner to see pics of the items on sale.

I have a really tremendous spam problem.
I use Spamhilator and it is showing an average of 540 per day.
I know I have put my email address about - can't avoid it when you buy everything on line as I do. I have only one email address - the same one I have had since I 1st got a computer in about 1995.

It would be a good idea for me to set up another email addy for me to use by non spammers, but when all your shopping and finances are done on line, that would be a monumental task notifying all who need to know of the new addy.

So I think I am lumbered with the nuisance of it.
I can't think that Kate gets much spam or she wouldn't have opened that one.
If I read mine it would be the equivalent of a full time job.

I just hope that some way can be developed to stop this misuse of the internet.

PS I have AVG and two spyware progs in use - updated and scan daily
