Yep but a lot of the time when they pull somebody over for a brake light being out it leads to more serious problems being found. Should imagine you and most law abiding people tend to check such things as brake lights whereas these drivers with scant regard for other peoples lifes don't give a toss. It just sometimes feels that the cops are damned either way. If they do nothing they get flak and then when they have a clamp down they also get flak
