The minute detail, as in Phoenix Nights, was spot on. Some of the signs in the audience had me choking, as did Pete Waterman's comment about Geraldine blowing his whistle.

A couple of biffs who I work with thought it was for real and said aaahhh when that lad was told no and then yes later when his grandma died.
Two up two down were funny. My favourite bits were the old biddies singing 'Push the Button' and the bit at the end where Geraldine choked on one of the silver bits released from the ceiling.
As you say, it was very well researched.
