Don't know where you are going or for how long. Good thing is Ty only young yet, so expect his clothes will not weigh all that much. They never bothered on the return from Spain, (was 5 kilos over after leaving stuff at my friends) but Benipete offered an explanation that maybe it because the Spaniards figure you have purchased goods whilst there.
