I spent Sat Nov 1st at an organised bonfire and then had around 15 people, mainly adults of respectable professions back to my humble abode where we ate hotdogs and blackpeas, and set off many , many fireworks in my tiny backyard. Did anyone complain..... NO. We drank and laughed and even taped some rockets together, we had a riot, no one died , it was a great night. We set some fireworks off in the garden earlier on tonight for the kids. There were several families doing the same round here. They enjoyed it and fun was had.
I only complain when I hear fireworks being set off at 2am or too early, like in September.
Fireworks make some people, like Margaret, ill.
In which case, for those people, it is not fun.
Fun is only fun if you're finding it funny..........if you know what I mean.
