Having checked the map it won't be the one on Glen Rd I don't think. Thats actually next to the Grammar School. 99% certain the Glen playing fields are the ones on top of the hill. As you go through Waterfoot in the Bacup direction the pitches are on the right hand side, about 20,000 feet up
You can't see them from the road.
When I can find a detailed enough map I'll let you know, you actually go past them then double back along an unmade road !!
