I lived on Hornby St from birth (1942) until 1961.
I spent a good deal of my childhood and adolescence in the park.
The only park-keeper I remember was a chap named Roland Hull.
He was short and stocky, walked with a limp, and had straight short blond hair. He was aged about mid 20s during the mid 50s.
I remember him well because there was a bit of scandal about him.
A girl in her late teens, bank managers daughter, lived on Park Lane, had a relationship with him and ended up marrying him, - don't think her dad was well pleased
