I have lived in the Rishton area until September 2007. We then went to live in Tenerife. As we are website designers all that we needed was an Internet connection, so we packed up, and arrived with all our worldly belongings and three dogs.
My daughter went to live in Scotland, and in February this year gave birth to our first Grandchild, with other family circumstances that had changed, we returned back to the chilly UK. We chose to live half-way between my daughter and grandaughter in Scotland and the rest of the family in Rishton, Oswaldtwistle and Clitheroe.
So my partner and myself have a lovely cottage on a farm and we design websites, and in my spare time I am secretary for Hyndburn Stray Dogs In Need, a charity very close to my heart as two of our dogs were strays and came from the charity. In fact Steve (Dog Warden) was the one that picked Jen up from the streets in December 2005.
