14 pounds make one stone, what stone was that who chose the stone, and who decided what one pound was.
now 8 of them stones makes a hundred weight, which is realy 112 not a 100. Then 20 of them hundred weights makes a ton. Who decided that 2240 of them original pounds should be called a ton.
