Not sure if Hasyred is asking me if I am involved with running the club but the answer is no.
I have no axe to grind with either party, I think that Ilyas's gesture is very noble and it would be nice if the club would accept his offer of help as we could all get on with the business of worrying about the results on the field, but they haven't accepted yet for their own reasons.
I have listen to both Rob and Ilyas on the radio tonight, Rob has explained that David O'Neill's comments were borne out of frustration - he has put alot of money into the club and still his commitment is being questioned, I am sure I'd be a bit peeved in that situation. Ilyas too is frustrated because he is offering to help the club but as of yet there has been no up take of this offer. I do know that the club is a business that puts a lot of demands on its employee's time even without the strains of the current crisis as a result I doubt there is little time at the ideal time of the day to start going into the finer points of the running of the club or the fund raising. Maybe they realised that collecting funds in such a short space of time would always be difficult and thus are spending time finding ways of raising the sums of money required in the time scale.
One thing is certain the split between all the interested parties will do Accrington Stanley no favours in the short and long term. For God's sake bite your tongues and concentrate on getting the club out of the current crisis. This is a time for forming alliances not factions, let's stick together and see this through
