Thanks for this. Derek Stanton, a Gobbin if ever there were one, has done a study of a book in the library -'Hyndburn Dialect' by Edmund Battersby. He has turned it into a DVD, copies of which should be available to borrow/view in the library. I am kicking myself now that I did not post to give our readers notification that today is Lancashire day. Next year it is on a saturday and already the Peel Park pub is making plans. This weekend they are having a Lancashire Real Ale Festival.
