Yep, Christchurch area, in fact Retlaw knows it very well! Turn at the Park Inn on Manchester Road, go up Christ Church Street, turn left up Rough Lee Road and first left onto Mountain Lane. Both sides of the road once had "hidden" (back to back) addresses, now knocked through into one house. To the left (through a "ginnel") was Mount Pleasant and on the right hand side of the road was the hidden Richard Street. You had to go between the 4 cottages on the RH side and up towards the side of Holly Bank to get to Richard Street. Arrgh, happy days, I used to do a paper round in this area when I was 12ish (for Littlefairs on Nuttall Street)
