MargaretR I thought this should have it's own thread
"I was born at
17 Hornby St and lived there for 18 yrs (1942 - 1961)
My parents bought that house early in their marriage in mid '30s I think, and lived there until my dad retired.
Small world isn't it?

"
I don't remember it of course. I arrived very late in life for them and we lived on Countess St then. Before then thay lived on Rawson Avenue, but I have no idea of the number. I had a brother - 16 years older than I - Derek Yates, AGS, H&B Drawing Office, Pioneer Drawing office and then South Wales and the world with BNS.
We must be of a similar generation though.
