This refers to email addresses and other personal information that you enter in the site upon registering which you choose to keep private. That is the information that isn't sold.
You have the option in your profile of which information you make available to the general public.
As for duplication though, technically anything 'published', which does include things like blog posts and indeed presumably forum posted text, is then technically under copyright protection... BUT, as it is afforded to your username and nobody is trying to say otherwise, you are being suitably cited for your post in some way and that would be enough for the forum to have no problems with what it is doing. Consider it a bit like an RSS news feed, only via twitter.
Nothing stops me posting stuff off accyweb into my own blog as long as I make it known where my source is and as far as I know, don't try to profit from it in bad faith.
Basically, when you post anything up on a website that isn't controlled by yourself though, you might as well accept that you are handing over some degree of rights to whatever you post and you have absolutely no chance of really enforcing any substantial rights over anything.
