Definitely not. I'll stay where I am, thank you.
It staggers me that the endemic attitude towards low revenues is to make those who are making a success of their businesses pay more rather than trying to attract new blood with lower costs. A shopping centre full of tax-paying businesses has got to be better all round than half of them paying half-tax. Better for the community, better for businesses and better for the council. Everybody wins.
Still, we've got a problem of our own with HSBC at the moment. Making a profit, but not
enough of a profit so it has to go. Very sad.
