theres plenty of decent folk but occurances like you have described are frequent and nothing new and its jsut the same anywhere else in the uk

sadly yes well i would say extreemly cautious infact in some areas its not even safe to let your kid go to teh corner shop alone and thats in teh so called posher areas.
if you do decide to move here have a good backup plan so that you can easily go back
like i said theres plenty of decent folk around but sadly theres also a lot of scum as you have experienced yourself
