You're so right about the no romance, remember that chairs were situated around the perimeter of the floor and with the lights on you had to keep your hands on your own knees or you'd have been spotted in a flash! I had a schoolmate who invited me to the Saturday night hop at Christ Church at around the same time. 'Twas there where I saw my first real tea-chest and washboard in action. Weren't we just in awe? Anyway back to the thread and it's nice to know that the Arcs building is still standing. Sorry, Margaret (close your eyes here if you must), but I did make it to there and to Joe Morts too.
