It isn't about starting 11 against starting 11 though is it. Where we have one loan player to cover both Symes and Grant other play off teams have a third and fourth striker. Whereas we have to play the same exhausted players week in week out others have a squad with competition for places.
Starting 11 against starting 11 on our day we can beat anyone, but it aint the way things go. We are losing games due to suspensions and fatigue because we don't have the squad of a play off side.
And Cash as to the not caring about play offs I now realise I could have worded myself a bit better - the money raised from a playoff run would be fantastic as would the days out for the fans. My fear is if we actually won promotion, which we would have a good chance of doing given our cup form with this squad, attendances would plummet when we start losing everyweek again. We as a club are not ready for a promotion and a few more years of being up and about the promotion places of League 2 would do us more good than a year getting thrashed in League 1.
