Next up for Stanley and the prediction league is Saturdays League 2 long trip to the Dorset south coast to play the highflying Cherries of AFC Bournemouth. The Cherries are currently 4th, only 1 point behind 2nd spot and an automatic promotion place.

Bournemouth were handed a surprise defeat last weekend - loosing 3-2 at Blundell Park to a struggling Grimsby side. Other recent results saw them draw 2 a piece with fellow promotion contenders Notts County and a narrow 1-0 win over Morecambe.

Since Bournemouth were relegated into League 2, we have had mixed fortunes. Last year saw a 3-0 home win for Stanley and a 1-0 loss at Dean Court (sorry Fitness First Stadium) with the Cherries scoring a gutting 86th minute winner. Earlier this season at the Crown, Bournemouth came and grabbed all 3 points with another narrow 1-0 win.

Will the Cherries pick off Stanley on Saturday? Or will Stanley pip them to the 3 points?
