I think Emily should slowly realise that missing from her washing line are her freshly washed delicates. After a bit of sleuthing by Norris, they are discovered in Jack's old pigeon loft. Sealed in plastic bags, and all meticulously labeled.
On discovering this, Norris and Emily decide to burn down the pigeon loft, and it's collection of sullied smalls, not knowing Jacks having forty winks inside.
Cue music.

LOL... I think that maybe he will finally decide to get rid of those flying ducks in the cut and Vera's arm is seen appearing out of the water to grab Jack down with her into the murky depths leaving us with few bubbles on the surface.
