Next Tuesday, 31st August, the (virtually) impenetrable defence of the Mighty Reds goes to Prenton Park to take on a struggling Tranmere side in the 1st Round of the JPT with a 7.45 kick-off (according to the fishy).
No League meetings between us (yet!), but we have met them in Cup competitions recently; in Sept 2008 they put us out of the same competition at the same round (1-0) at their ground, and in November 2008, after a goalless draw at our place, they won the replay 1-0; three games, and we haven't taken a goal off them - but we have taken Terry Gornell off them! 
Just for Fun, as always; we owe them a drubbing - will this be the time? How sweet is revenge? They lie in the relegation zone, with just 2 points from 4 games and a -4 goal difference (3 scored and 7 conceded) - who will be more 'up' for this?
