It therefore makes sense for these characters to be denied access to NHS hospital treatment for severe flu when do catch it and end up bed blocking for a week or longer. To paraphrase the old saying = 'They've made their own bed, let them lie in it - and not someone elses.'

Prior to 1994 I had the flue jab every year, each time I had it I was rushed into hospital on blue lights with chronic chest problems, and was in and out of hospital all winter, since then I have always refused the jab, I have only been in hospital 4 times since, none of which were flu related, the first time was July 2002 then 2008 and twice in 2009, the flu jab doesn't do for everybody Tealeaf
