Here is another fine loco which is/was lodging at York Museum. I used to watch them thunder through Hest bank when I stayed with my aunty in North Morecambe.

Even though it is one of ours, LMS, I don't think it is as good looking as one of theirs, LNER Mallard.

I recon the Lizzies and Duchesses looked better with out the cladding.
I have photos of one running at East Lancs somewhere on my hard drive among thousands of other "snaps"
