Think these care homes are as good as their staff, JCB, its like firms that provide home care, which enables more people to stay at home. When I was in hospital 14 months ago I was told that they wouldn't discharge me unless I agreed to home care, so I did, under protest (I've always been very fiercely independent) but I'm now glad I did, I let lucky, I got Careforce (now Mears) George who is my main carer (he's also a member of Accyweb) has actually improved my standard of life, he's more of a friend than a carer, to me if this enables me to stay more independent its great
