I thought you were joking! Butter pies are made from potato, onion and a lot of butter which makes it a pretty stodgy little chomp but they're delicious. Glovers bakery in the Leyland area do the best butter pies for me, nice and moist. Some can be a little dry but once tasted never forgotten!
