Kind of makes you wonder how so many wrinklies with "so called modern day alergies" have managed to live so long ........ can anyone tell me why we never heard of Accy Vic, Queens Park, the Royal Infirmary , or Park Lee (isolation) Hospital ever being inundated or closed during the 50' and 60s ,when lets face it , personnal hygiene wasn't near the top of anyones agenda, lots of folks still had outside lavvies, and were still using poes(sp?) due to mass outbreaks of salmonelia (sp?) or botulism .
The only time folks got the 'runs' in those days was during a £40 two week all inclusive (inc flights) holiday in Greece or Spain
sorry for thread wander , think the invention of the "internet" has a lot to answer for , think the main problem is folks spending to much time sat too close to the front of a screen and having their brains scrambled.
