United have a damn sight more "English players" than the likes of Rovers...as for foreign fans...do you really excpect a club that gets 75,000+ on matchdays to be soley supported by English.
I'll say this again.. if a few thousand paying "foreigners" turned up at Stanley or Rovers on matchdays I doubt they'd be told to sod off at the gates..
