None of the 25 appear to be the two you name. I suggest that yoiu make contact with the Lancashire Family History Society's Hyndburn branch. I think there will be a member who is one of your lot. In addition, Accrington Library may havbe a separate obituary reference for one or both. Also, look at website Lancashire Births,Marriages, Deaths.

Is this addressed to me? If so, I think you have misunderstood. I never gave any suggestion that Dick Barnes and Jimmy Barnes lived in Accrington. I merely said that they owned the bleach works at Whitebirk where my grandfather worked for 54 years.
