Started life as Angela Pendergast, living in Lion Street and Oswald Street. Am looking forward very much to seeing more old friends, courtesy of Mez, over the Bank Holiday weekend, and boy I am looking forward to the party we'll have in Ossy this Christmas!

My first ever pm. was from Pendy. I didn't even know how to open it. She was replying to the question I'd asked in a thread, as to whether she'd been in the scouts with my Dad. Amused, she said she'd known a lot of scouts in her younger days, but her gender prevented her having been one herself.

She was also the very first Accy Webber I met via this forum.

The bell went. I opened the door, and in flew Pendy.
Proclaiming, in her cut glass accent, as she rushed past me, and settled herself on the sofa.
'Darling, you're much too young to have bloody Parkinson's, and I have a feeling we are going to be very good friends.'

She was right. As she usually was.

One of the most interesting, and uniquely eccentric people I've had the pleasure to meet.

Life will be much duller here without her.
