Very near to where Wood's was until quite recently, who I think made steel drums, so might have a connection to the George Wood listed on the plan.

Yep..all common local names. I note that the last two - Barnes and Duckworth - are both street names in Church, although the latter was also a mill name (or at least was commonly referred to as that).
Although..
Barnes with an 'e' - I forget.
