Can't understand the way you are finding it too fast moving G, unless of course it's just cos you don't want it to finish.. Brideshead for example covers about 25 years and isn't too "fast" and it captures the era brilliantly. Think that's the one I'll be re-watching once I've finished Downton Series I -don't think it'll take me through to Feb though....
Yes, it's because I don't want it to finish.

At this rate I can only see it being three or four series long.
