I was kind of hoping for some sort of discussion seeing as how nothing on this forum goes beyond a few posts anymore, but in the absence of that .....

If its good enough for the Football League then its good enough for me. We don't know who was involved with ASFC being set up and how they played an active role in AFC in order for the FL at the time and now to recognise the clubs as being one and the same.

The point comes about because I'm trying to archive the history of the club, within a timeline format. I had kind of always assumed that the next game following the demise of AFC would be the first game of ASFC, but there is an overlap that I don't know what to do with.
