I think speed is the key and being consistently fast. The way the points are allocated, just a few seconds between 1st place and 4th or 5th can mean a big difference.
So, for us "plodders" it's an uphill task
In the meantime I'm satisfied to have won one day's quiz this month - but then they do say "Little things please little minds"
(Good luck all for today's - just looked but they are doing maintenance, the subject was Literature which sounds promising....just as long as there aren't too many American authors!)
