Hope all you Trivial Players have a good end to the year and that it goes out with a bang and some fireworks - have enjoyed the banter!
As my 10th placing this month is a little disappointing and my own NY Eve promises to be a bit of a damp squib -I am about to absent myself mentally to an undisclosed location on a sunny island. There I plan to brush up my golden tan, sit in a comfy armchair at my favourite tapas bar eating Boquerones, Pimientos del padron and other tasty morsels while sipping on cool glasses of Veuve Cliquot Ponsardin Rosé, as the sun slips down for the last time in 2011 over the fishing boats in the harbour.
Why all this? You may ask.
In true Drama-Queen style I feel the need to recharge my Giddy-batteries ready for next year's quiz where i intend to become a force to be reckoned with. After all "Tomorrow is just another day."
By the way, if anyone wants to join me, there is room at my table and the Champagne's on me!
