It seems that Series Three will have a new character in Lady Grantham's mother, to be played by Shirey Maclean. Should be a great new "foil" for the Dowager Duchess - I expect sparks will fly!

If, at some point, they decide to bring in a "father" for Lady G., I would suggest Warren Beatty -or would that be a bit incestuous?
