USED to play league at rochdale and leigh , played for lancs myself all the way to under 21 level and England schoolboys and under 19s overall about a twenty five year stint at getting battered and bruised every weekend and i loved every minute happy days  Tell him to keep at it its a brilliant way to make lifelong friends and contacts and have a few scoops (when he gets older of course ).
