Don't things change fast?
1. Oxford have now signed striker Mehdi Kerrouche (26) from Swindon - I thought that Oxford and Swindon disliked each other, but what do I know? - on a month-long loan. Kerrouche - French born of Algerian descent - joined Swindon last July, and has scored eight in 18 appearances for them this season, but has since fallen out of favour with Robins boss Paolo di Canio. (Well there's a novelty .........
)
2. As well as losing forwards Tom Craddock and Alfie Potter (see main thread opening above), the U's have now also lost Jon-Paul Pittman for four weeks because of a hamstring injury
3. Finally, young Australian striker Matthew Fletcher has left the club after his short-term deal ended.
None of which will help us much, of course, if the game's frozen off ..........
