stick win7 on yer lappy in 99.9% of cases anything with vista can take win7
the only time i have not been able to do so was with a fijitsu laptop and that was because fijitsu were stubborn and refused to fix a glitch with the keyboard that occured when you put win7 on their laptop.
by rights anyone with vista should have got a free download of win7 as an appology but hey ho downloading a copy elsewhere and calling it even will have to do
