Don't remember the pub but of course my roving stopped in '58 or thereabouts - besides I only frequented the better hostelries - Cattle Market, Australian etc

Did frequent North Pier quite often in my younger days - sort of hors d'ouvres before the passion wagon back to Accrington.
The Ritz was still going in 59/60 as was Bulloughs Club which was down the same entry, but turn right instead of left into the Ritz.
When did the Ritz cinema close?
